General Items

Preparation
- Research compatible engines
- Gather necessary tools (wrenches, sockets, hoist, etc.)
- Obtain engine specifications and requirements
- Purchase or source new engine
- Read service manual for vehicle and engine
- Check for any additional parts needed (mounts, wiring, etc.)
- Prepare workspace (clean and organized)
Removal of Old Engine
- Disconnect battery
- Drain fluids (oil, coolant, etc.)
- Remove any accessories (alternator, AC compressor, etc.)
- Disconnect exhaust system
- Label and disconnect wiring harness
- Remove engine mounts bolts
- Use hoist to lift and remove old engine
Installation of New Engine

- Attach engine mounts securely
- Reconnect wiring harness and label connections

- Connect exhaust system
- Fill fluids (oil, coolant, etc.)
- Reconnect battery

- Start engine and check for smooth operation
